    About the 12 months commitment: even if it's locked for a year, in my case BoE has to rise interest of more than 2.3% from day one to make it a bad investment (taking in consideration a 2.5% tracker mortgage). Also this one is a bet at the end.

    But not all Regular Savers have this 1 year limit.
