Can anyone figure out how to get this SportsDirect code to work?

I was just about to buy a few t-shirts from SportsDirect's website when I saw the following banner advert on the View Basket page.


(Transcript in case they remove the image:
"One weekend only - extra 50% off. How to claim your extra 50% off - insert the voucher code SW03 in box above and click on APPLY DISCOUNT and UPDATE BASKET to see your discount applied. Offer ends at midnight (BST) on Sunday 5 August 2007")

However, I haven't been able to get the code to actually apply a discount to anything so far. Anyone got any ideas? I've tried various other ways of typing it (letter O rather than number 0 for example), but they all explicitly say "not a valid code" whereas SW03 doesn't display an error message but also doesn't apply the supposed extra 50% off!

You could try phoning them and asking for advice.
You may be able to use voucher code over the phone.

Cheers for the tip, but unfortunately their customer services are only open 9 till 5.30 Monday to Friday, so the offer will have expired before they reopen...

Although the offer states that discount will be applied when you 'update basket', this doesn't always show the reduced price. This would be in the email acknowledgement you receive.

You could do a screen shot of the page where offer is shown, and if they fail to apply the discount, send copy of page as proof.

It applies only on products marked with the 50% off. I applied the coupon and it worked, but only on some stuff in the basket.
