Halifax £500 through a broker

Hi all,
My husband and I have had a mortgage agreed in principle through a broker for Halifax. We've now had an offer accepted on a house and are looking at the mortgages. There is currently a £500 deal on Halifax for first time buyers (as we are) on mortgages - it doesn't state that it isn't available to brokers, unlike another £150 offer. When we asked our broker about it, he just said that there was £650 cash back if we didn't go through him, but no £500 deal valid. Can anyone confirm if this £500 isn't available? I spent 25 minutes on hold with Halifax mortgages line, to only be told at the end that they didn't know! Useful!
If anyone has had any luck, please let me know!
Kind thanks,
Lisa

Rate? %
Type? Fix/tracker?
Period? Two years, three years etc
£500 cashback? £500 fee?
Why Halifax? Its rates are seldom best buys.I am a mortgage broker. You should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Rate we are looking at is 2.74% Fixed rate over 5 years. £165000 to borrow. 22 year repayment time
We've gone with Halifax because my husband is a contractor and has only 7 months left on his current contract which restricted us quite a bit.
£500 towards your conveyancing.

In the broker products, FAI305 is;-
2.74% fixed until 30/06/20.
Maximum loan to value 60%.
ERP 5/4/3/2/1.
Must complete by 30/09/2015.
£0 product fee. No cashback or other incentive.
On the special L&G13 list there's a 2.54% fix until the same end date with £999 fee. Again, no cashback or other incentive.
If you are talking about this;-
http://www.halifax.co.uk/mortgages/offer/
It clearly states;-
Offer Excludes: Shared Equity (including Help to Buy: Equity loan), Shared Ownership, Equity Support mortgages, Buy to Let mortgages and applications through Halifax Intermediaries.I am a mortgage broker. Thanks for your response, that was the one we were looking at. I was getting confused as on a different offer it stated "third party applications through mortgage brokers" and not Halifax intermediaries, and I wasn't sure of the difference.
