Hi,
I need to use up a packet of ciabatta bread mix (Lidl), but have never used a packet mix before in the breadmaker.
Do I need to use programme 02 - fastbake - as the yeast is already in the packet?
Or can I use the 09 Italian setting?
Thanks for any advice

If it's any help, the Panasonic SD254 instructions include an "Easy Ciabatta" which is made using the Italian setting.
I wouldn't use the fastbake, cos the yeast may not have enough time to do it's thing, as the packet mixes are usually produced for hand baking."We could say the government spends like drunken sailors, but that would be unfair to drunken sailors, because the sailors are spending their own money."

Thanks for the reply. As I had to divide the pack into 2 anyway, I decided to do one of each so that I know for future reference
