Hi - I am lending a considerable amount to a friend for a maximum of 5 years and interest-free and was wondering if anyone has a free template or a downloadable form from a website they could recommend.
Have tried via Google but all appear to require payment.
Thanks very much.

What are the chances of you coming back to these boards asking how to get your money back??
Friendship and lending money (especially considerable sums) do not match IMO.

Thanks Eric......and I agree which is why I want to do it legally. I guess a visit to the solicitor's office may be in order..... and prudent !0

BTW....what's that on your signature Eric? "give lots and you will receive lots" .... ahem!0

Thought it was pretty self-explanatory actually Eric....... but I'll spell it out if you prefer.....
.....you implied that it wasn't a good idea to lend money (particularly a considerable amount) to a friend but then signed off with an incongruent statement i.e. if you give lots you will always receive lots.
Just a bit of cheeky banter.....no offence intended Eric0 -
It was not implied advice. I can guarantee you it will go wrong. Lending to friends and families is a receipe for disaster. Why can't this person get the money for themselves?
Anyway it's your money and you are free to do as you please.
Good luck.
