Picked one up yesterday never looked at price expecting it to be £1.50 - £2 or so as they are in most cheapo shops.
Looked at receipt this morning and it says 48p....... 48p!
I think the disposable toilet brush has arrived can afford to buy a new one every month never need to clean the toilet brush again!

So the bristles are the same plastic as the handle?
Not all plastic is recyclable and having mixed plastic makes it even more difficult to deal with.
I certainly couldn't put it in any local recycle centre - only plastic bottles allowed.0 -
Sorry guys, but some things truly do belong in landfills. Human waste is probably a good one for that category.0

Great value (even at double the price) but even at that price I wouldn't DREAM of throwing it away after a short period of time. What is wrong with reusing a toilet brush.
OK not everybody's favourite subject - but you clean the toilet with it using a toilet cleaner - then you flush the toilet while leaving the brush in the water to be well rinsed off - then leave it sitting in the water and pour some good bleach over it and leave it for about an hour - another flush - tap the brush on the side of the toilet - and hey presto ready to go back into it's little holder. Toilet and brush both clean and germ-free - ready for next time.
What's the matter - are some people too posh to clean a loo and brush?0 -

BTW Birmingham incinerates all its non-recyclable waste in heat generating incinerators, no landfill.I started with nothing and I am proud to say I still have most of it left.0 -
