Hi JillD - I'll try to remember what I shoved in the roast (don't do 'measured' recipes apart from the occasional delia pudding)

Cooked red lentils (about 2 cups - i imagine any kind of lentils would work)
    breadcrumbs (about a slice worth)
half a jar of pesto (this was a storecupboard emptying kind of roast)
    1 egg
    cooked rice (about a handful)
    salt and pepper

roughly mix and bung it in a greased loaf tin - I cooked it for about 40 mins (until the top was springy, not sticky) at about 170

Pop Up - yes, I'm veggie (although my OH is an ex-veggie omnivore) so the household is pretty much meat-free. Also I really can't stand the smell of cooking meat, so if he wants his fix he has to sneak the occasional burger while he's out :) Or collude with my meat-eating father 6 miles away to be over at his place at dinnertime!!

Can't find it, can't remember what was on it sooooo done it again :)

All are just main meals, veg depends what is in apart from where stated, lunches there are plenty of options from baked potatoes to sandwiches there is a quiche somewhere aswell, cereals and toast for breakfasts. Alternatives for kids where needed.

I may need to switch days around, did last week, joys of hols and a partner who doesn't let me know what we're doing! I've also edited twice already :o changed the meals completely, wish I could make my mind up sometimes.

Sunday - Turkey dinner, carrots, peas, sweetcorn, brocolli for me, charlotte potatoes
Monday - Fish night, just cod, peas and chips I think this week, hm fishcakes for the boys
Tuesday - Jamaican jerk chicken, peppers, onions etc with tortillas
Wednesday - Moroccan lamb with cous cous I think, new one for me as never cooked it before.
Thursday - Chinese stir fry with noodles and chinese veg
    Friday - Stew and dumplies.
Saturday - Burgers, quorn or beef.
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb

    Here we go
I always make a pot of soup on a Sunday to last through the week so I decided to include it this week. Lentil and bacon soup.

Mon - Linguine napoletan( basically fancy spag bol)
Tue - Chinese spare ribs, Shanghai chicken and potato wedges.
    Wed - Boston baked beans.
Thurs - Chicken salad, Greek courgettes, bulgar wheat salad.
Fri - Smoked haddock, leek fish cakes and chips.
Sat - Tuna steaks with gingered noodles and roasted vine tomatoes.
Sun - Chicken in black bean sauce, sweet and sour chicken, egg fried rice and prawn crackers.

Still haunting the reduced section! Most of my ingredients were reduced to 10p:rotfl: Member no 1 Tesco 7:15pm club:T
