    Ah but many of these people with whom you compare are able to build their own house, where they want. Many of us 'millionaires' cannot look after our own interests and have to resort to begging from the government.

    Yeah, i always wondered when they say 'has to walk 20 miles every day for water' would it not be easier to move closer to the water??

    I found this website on Channel 4 which shows you where you sit financially compared with other people in the UK and the world. It makes you think, particularly when you see how you sit compared with the rest of the world. I will never complain again!

  • Yep many would be suprised to hear that in some countrys CEOs of major businesses are lucky to get 6K a year.

    Last time i looked you needed to earn £2000 a year to get an executive platinum card in india and thats hardly the most backward country in the world (ie a lot worse places) ;)

    Income after tax duffas, as the tax regimes around the world are different!

    Also British work hours are higher compared to world average.
