    Not sure that answer is strictly correct.
    I see the same text on the IMDB page, but it doesn't specifically relate to the question :

    So, it's not really about saving "the woman he loves", it's her father.
    I would maybe just go for : "turn against his criminal employers and their gang"

    But that might just be open to opinion.
