Hi all, I am posting this from the Special Occaisons board, I am afraid I am not the best on the boards technology part so sorry if some have read this already!
So! My boyfriend proposed last weekend! YAY! :j
I am super happy and excited, although I have to admit to feeling overwhelmed by all the possibilities, options and decisions to make! Iam one of those people who struggles to make a decision and stick to it ha ha, always see something better once I have picked/booked something!
My friend has suggested going on Pinterest to get some ideas going, but I thought also it would be nice to make a scrapbook to stick pics from magazines in, this would also be nice to look back through when we are (hopefully) old and decrepit. Any ideas of where does a decent but reasonable scrapbook? The Works does them but they are all lined and I want plain.
I do think there are so many places to look it is confusing for me to know where to start. Any particular website recommendations?!

congratulations!
I have a private pinterest board that I share with my bridesmaids.
I also registered with hitched.co.uk
My MoH bought me a plain wire bound book from Paperchase as an engagement/wedding planning gift.

this is their wedding shop:

I haven't bought a single magazine or looked at any websites really, bar google images to try and fine tune the cake decor.
Picked a date and made a rough guest list to get ideas of numbers then had a look at local civil ceremony venues and went from there.
Having had 9 years to think about marrying him though I had a lot of the ideas in my head.0 -
Congratulations on your engagement, what an exciting time for you!
First, set a budget. This is one decision you will want to stick to - its really easy to get carried away. Create a spreadsheet to keep track of your costs! Add absolutely everything you spend that is wedding related, including wedding magazines£2 here and there on bits and pieces add up.
I'd recommend joining your local facebook wedding group. You can meet other brides and hear about their experiences with suppliers...as always though be cautious and research every single company before parting with any money! I'm not a big facebook fan, but local brides have so much useful info.
Enjoy the process!Thank you to everyone on the matched betting forum for your help and patience!OS Grocery challenge: £25 a week
