I am not sur eit's right that english people have to pay while the other UK countries get away with not.

There are some peope who are prescribed multiple medicines and have to choose which is most important as they cannot afford them! They often have to ask a pharmacist which is the least important! It's just not right!

Also, private dental prices vary massively! Take a look at this:

Apparently, depending on where you live, they can vary by 733%!

Hold the front pages!!! Dental prices vary!!!!

If they were all the same people would be screaming 'Cartel'!!

At my local McDonalds - a bit of beef can be had, with a bun thrown in, and some fries for a couple of quid.

I saw a restaurant the other day that charged £45 JUST FOR A BIT OF BEEF!

How amazing is that for a price variation! 2000%+ variation in the price of cooked beef!!
    How to find a dentist.
    1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
    2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
    3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
    4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.
