Savings while bankrupt

Due to my naturally extremely frugal nature (!) I can see I'm building up some savings in my bank account. Although I recently completed a new IPOQ and my IPA is unchanged, I'm concerned the OR will look at my bank account and think I can manage on less. Up until this month I've had to send in payslips to Clarke Willmott so it's not as if I have undeclared overtime or anything. Do they periodically ask for bank statements or do they just access your account online?
6 months to discharge, the IPA is only 4 months in.
Thanks

Simple answer...No, they don't do either.
How one chooses to utilise the monies allocated within the SOA is entirely up to the BR individual. No, I don't think all other drivers are idiots......but some are determined to change my mind.......0 -
Thank you Alastair, helpful as always. I really didn't want to start spending £50 a week on food just because I can. Surely they do keep tabs on your bank account though, just in case you have a lottery win or whatever and don't tell them!
I shall keep up the frugality then, thanks again.0 -
If you're still worried, you could always withdraw any monthly 'surplus' in cash and keep it safe somewhere?0

They rely on you being honest with them, I'd imagine they do monitor accounts of people they do believe aren't being honest. It would cost them a lot of time and money to closely monitor every bankrupts bank account on a regular basis.0
