Abbey/santander valuation to offer timescale

Hi Everyone,
Hope someone can give me some timelines on santander mortgage process.

Full Application submitted on 26 feb 2015
Application agreed subject to valuation recieved on 5 march 2015
Valuation done on 10 march 2015

Now waiting for the final decision with or without offer.

Can someone please let me know how long does it takes from valuation to offer?
And does the application agreed means only valuation can affect my mortgage application? if valuation comes fine, is the confirmed the offer will be released?

My buyers are using santander, the surveyor came to my home at 9am and mortgage offer was issued at 4pm so hopefully you won't be waiting much longer.

The surveyor made sure his report was in by 1pm that day though , other surveyors may not be so fast !

my surveyor came around 12.30 pm , so that could be the reason. But still yesterday has lapsed. i was expecting a response yesterday. Lets hope to hear something today.

May have other appointments to attend to before writing up reports.

Seems as if things are well progressed. The actual purchase may take far longer than you expect. So best to remain chilled. Take up yoga or another pursuit. While letting matters take their natural course.

Thanks for your reply. Just came to know my mortgage has been approved and will have the offer within a week or so.

Ours was sameday too, that was last week. Report was in 2pm ish, offer was sent later that day.

They get criticized, but I have to say our application process was as fast as it could have been.

I was just wondering how long it took for you all after you got the offer till you moved in , just wondered what the timescale was?
