Capital 2 Coast "FCN"

Hello,
I received an FCN from capital 2 coast last week whilst parked in the underground residential car park beneath my flat. I have a valid permit etc and am not sure why it was issued. From reading this forum I see that capital 2 coast and their new owners ceased to be members of the IPC as of 7/1/15 - am I correct in thinking that they cannot access details from the DVLA despite the notice stating this? Does this mean I can ignore the FCN as they have no way to pursue this?
Thanks,
R.

Yes. The IPC and the DVLA have both been contacted about C2C's "intent" in the last month. Both have been silent on the issue.
So best ignore and come back if they do contact the "keeper"This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Plus, just in case .... read your tenancy / lease for any wording on parking

It will be really interesting to see how this plays out.
So, @OP, do not make any contact with C2C, but do come back if you receive anything in the post, addressed to the Registered Keeper. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

And of course they 'share' the same office as Sussex Security Solutions and Parking Enforcement. And surprise surprise - are breaking the law by displaying the ICO logo !!!"The darkest places in hell are reserved for those who maintain their neutrality in times of moral crisis." - Dante Alighieri0

Interestingly, I have followed the advice on this thread fora while now and have had 3 parking tickets in all that time and with the advice here heard nothing after sending 'the' letter.
Interestingly I got a ticket from capital to caost a month or so ago and ignored it thinking they could not get my address, but today a letter FCN turned up in the post. So it looks like they do have a way to get your address after all.
I'm not sure what my response should be now. Is it too late to send 'the' letter from the forum or should I ignore this one they have sent me?0 -
Pete - best to start a new thread on your case, as the policy here is one case - one thread for very good reasons.
I don't know if they are now a member of IPC or BPA and I don't have time to check now, someone else will, or I will look later.Bournemouth - home of the Mighty Cherries0 -

sussex parking solutions are members of the IPC , but coast to coast is not.
it is an offence (breach of code of practice) for a member of a ATA to pass info from the DVLA to a non ATA member.
please start a new thread and explain all contact with this lot , they may be in deep doggy stuff0
