4.8.07 what small dfw/mse thing will you do or have you done today?

Good Morning fellow DFW Peeps and welcome old timers and newbies alike :hello:

Welcome to the weekend

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.

Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging the washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.

So, today I will:
  • check online banking and update spreadsheet
  • do a little bit of matched betting
  • see a couple of clients
  • not use the car - we can walk wherever we need
  • clicks and surveys
  • get something on ebay or amazon
  • design a new business leaflet
  • spend less than £2
  • not increase my debt in any way
  • be positive :D
I hope you all have a good weekend. Please don't forget to use sun cream

Hi hypno, hi all. Today I have:
    - accepted my first mystery assignment shop.
    - checked both my email boxes to see if I've sold anything (I haven't.... but I could have, you never know!).

Thats all today, its only 9.20. To come:
    - meeting with my consultant about the finance practice.
    - *got* to buy a new pair of trainers - they're the shoes I wear day to day, and the sole has fallen off the body of the shoe so badly its now dragging on the floor.
    - make the bleeping carrot muffins, or I'm going to have to throw the carrots away.
    - will try to do the surveys that popped up in my inbox.

KC, could you please PM me the recipe for carrot muffins. Not only do I have a bag of carrots that need using, but I have a "bring a plate of something" picnic to contribute to tomorrow, so this could be just the thing I need!

    Hi

Today I'm not doing much, but have already done a couple of surveys, will do clicks and although I'm using the tumble dryer, I bought some dryer balls in the £shop (have no tennis balls) and hope this will cut the drying time - they seem to be working.

Paid £5.10 and £5.13 off my catalogues. Takes my snowball date of December 2008 being catalogue debt free :) Every little helps, paying off in little bits doesn't make me feel like I'm missing out on money!

I've listed 25 books on Amazon totaling £58 and I've sorted out things for a carboot tomorrow.

Not much, but I've just rushed to the Post Office to pay in £50 that was owed to me and paid back this lunchtime.

I wasn't even sure if the PO was still open but I figured that it's better to be in the bank than in my pocket, tempting me to buy beer ;)
