Prefered pensions

Hi can anyone give me advice on what to do I have a pension with Scottish widows and one with Abbey Life I would like them together as it it easier to look after.
I was contacted by Prefered Pensions has anyone had dealings with them ?....I can't find much information on them. Thanks

    I think I'd steer well clear. Any company saying they are following up on a HMRC review of pensions or have been instructed by the government to do pension reviews is outright lying.

    Never do business with any financial services firm that cold calls you. That's how the scammers find their victims.

    You don't need much to transfer a pension of this sort. It takes filling out one form provided by the place you want to transfer to.

    Ideally you should first phone each company to ask whether there is a "guaranteed annuity rate". That will only apply to pensions started before around the year 2000 and not to all of those. A GAR can often be much higher than current open market rates.
