TV package after discharge

The 12 month period until discharge is over in a couple of months – is it likely that I could still get a TV package ? I am on a Virgin TV package and want to change but don’t want to cancel until I’m sure I can get a different package. Grateful for comments. Thank you.

Nothing, unless the OP is like me and lives in a flat with no TV aerial, meaning the only way to get TV is via cable. Also a basic TV package is very cheap when combined with broadband / phone.0 -
Hi - Can you recommend a "..basic TV package which is very cheap when combined with broadband/phone..." Regards.0

Sorry I'm with Virgin lol. I just remember asking them the price of just having broadband and phone and it was only a few pounds less than with TV on top. Not that the total is cheap sadly :-/0

There's freeview... but people often forget Freesat! cost me £60 to get a dish installed on 2nd floor. great free option. I have mine plugged into a HD dual tuner on my pc so I can watch, record and stream live tv to my phone or other device anywhere. Great on my lunch breaks
doesn't cost me a penny either :P. 0 -
Unfortunately, freeview doesn't come with a landline and internet package...0

what about NOWTV as an option? You can pick up one of their boxes for £10 or £20 with a 3 month entertainment pass (Argos do a 6 month one for £35).
Just as an update to this in case you want Internet and tv from the same company, you can order nowtv with unlimited broadband, nowtv entertainment and sky movies for £15 per month plus line rental direct from sky http://www.sky.com/shop/nowbundle/0 -
I was discharged in June last year and was with Sky. I changed over to BT yesterday and although they said they do a credit check as part of the online process, they never said anything about my bankruptcy.
I paid the £50 fee and everything is going through fine.
I have done zero credit file clean up too.
Just try and see what happens.0
