I have a 1.3kg gammon join that I want to cook for dinner tonight. I normally cook it in a large saucepan on the gas but don't really want to use 1.5hours of gas cooking it so is it possible to cook it in my pressure cooker and do I remove the clear plastic wrapping? (I normally leave that on when boiling, as per the instructions).

I cook mine out of the wrapper and in the tray over the trivet with a mug of water.
30 mins per kilo at high pressure and its pretty darn tasty!!
