    To be fair he is right. There are plenty of cash rich developers who pounce on such properties to redevelop them around here in West London. I have seen absolutely derelict houses in prime areas go for 7 figures, get redeveloped and then put up for >£1m more. That includes knocking them down and rebuilding. The area he is talking about is a prime area and would be easy pickings.

    If you are able to finance it and get the best advice you can then it will be massively worth it, but your position is a massive risk (i.e. you are not a seasoned developer, and don't have a substantial cash reserve to fall back on).
