There's plenty of prizes to be won in 2015 and the top global league scorer in the upcoming grand prix will receive a 500GB Sony PlayStation 4.
The Sony PlayStation 4 is the most powerful console ever created and is the very latest in next generation gaming. As well as playing games at 60fps in 1080p resolution, it can act as your online media entertainment hub, connect through social channels and even record and share gameplay with live-streaming.
The global league player who scores the most points in every race in 2015 can win a fantastic prize subject to terms and conditions, even if they sign-up to play after the season has begun. Prizes may change from race-to-race so make sure you check back to here to find out the latest one up for grabs.
All you have to do to compete for this prize is sign-up and prove you are a true grand prix expert by making your team's choices before each race.
I've set up a friendly league called Pasty Power if you want to take part:

Introducing the AUTOSPORT Grand Prix Predictor
The AUTOSPORT Grand Prix Predictor is based on the 2015 FIA Formula 1 World Championship. The game is free to play and offers you the opportunity to predict the top 10 finishers, and more besides, before each race of the season. You will compete in a global league for cool prizes like Sony PlayStation 4 games consoles. You can also challenge friends in private leagues, play the game on Facebook or even on your mobile.
The game commences with the Australian Grand Prix on March 15 2015, and runs through to the final grand prix of the season in Abu Dhabi on 29 November. You will score points for your predictions at every race.
At the end of each race, the player with the highest score, subject to availability and terms will win the 'Race-By-Race prize' – such as a Sony PS4.
HOW TO PLAY
Registration
You must provide a unique teamname for your account. Any names deemed inappropriate or offensive will not be allowed and one or more of your accounts may be withdrawn or disqualified from the game as a result.
All fields are mandatory and if you do not complete the registration form fully, you may not be able to create your user profile and will not be eligible to win prizes.
You may sign up as many teams as you like, however you can only register one per e-mail address.
Making your predictions
Playing the Grand Prix Predictor is easy. Just predict the top 10 finishing order of the upcoming grand prix using the simple tool on the 'My Predictions' page.
Click on the image of the driver you want to choose from the driver list and drag and drop it into the box that denotes the position in which you think he will finish. Positions 1-3 are denoted by the podium at the top of the page, with positions 4-10 shown underneath.
You can also predict which driver you think will get pole position, which driver will set the fastest lap and which driver will gain the most positions during the race. To select your driver simply scroll through the list of drivers for each category until you have found your chosen candidate.
As with the top 10, you will score points based on these predictions.
Changing your predictions
If you are unhappy with any of your predictions, simply click the 'x' symbol next to the driver's image and he will be returned to the driver list.
Saving your predictions
Once you are happy with the predictions you have made, click the 'save' button at the bottom of the screen and your predictions will be set. If you change any predictions afterwards, you must press 'save' again in order for the changes to take effect.
You can make unlimited changes to your selection up until 5 minutes before qualifying for each grand prix, at which time your predictions will be locked.
Non-submission of predictions
If you enter less than 10 drivers in your prediction for any grand prix, you will not score any points for the missing positions.
If you fail to select a driver for pole position, fastest lap or most positions gained you will not be eligible to score. You will however be eligible to score for your top 10 predictions.
Once you have made a prediction, this will automatically become your prediction set for the full season, unless you change your predictions between grands prix.
Once you have registered your user profile, we will help you keep on top of your predictions by sending a helpful email reminder leading up to the deadline for each race. You can enable or disable these notifications via the My Account page.
PRIZES
Race-by-Race prizes
A Sony Playstation console (model specified by promoter) will also be awarded to the player who tops certain grand prix during the official 2015 Formula 1 season. Terms and conditions will apply.
SCORING
Points will be awarded as follows:- 10 points - Correctly predicted finishing position.
- 5 points - Prediction one place away from actual finishing position.
- 2 points - Prediction two places away from actual finishing position.
- 0 points - Prediction more than two places away from actual finishing position.
Extra points can be scored under the following criteria:- 5 points - Correctly selecting the driver on pole position.
- 5 points - Correctly selecting the driver with fastest race lap.
- 5 points - Correctly selecting the driver who gained the most positions.
The bonus points system is simple and based on individual race performance. Bonus points will therefore be awarded for achieving the following landmark sequences or predictions in any race as follows:- 100 bonus points - Correctly predict the top 10 finishers in position in the same race.
- 60 bonus points - Correctly predict six of the top 10 drivers in position in the same race.
- 30 bonus points - Correctly predict the top three finishers in position in the same race.
- 20 bonus points - Correctly predict the driver on pole position, the driver with the fastest lap and the driver who gained the most positions, all in the same race.
- 10 bonus points - Correctly predict the winner of a race.
For 2015 you will also be awarded 20 bonus points the first time you either set-up a private league or join a private league (please note, the points earned for this one-off bonus will only appear in your score after the next race calculation.) For more about private leagues, read further down.
Driver changes
If a driver moves teams, or a new driver enters half-way through the season, the list of drivers will automatically be updated in the AUTOSPORT Grand Prix Predictor.
If a driver you have picked is declared unable to race once the Grand Prix Predictor deadline has passed, you will automatically be credited as having picked his replacement in the same car and will score any points scored by the replacement driver.
Changes to results
The race results used for the game will be the official race results published by the FIA. Any disqualifications/time penalties issued within 12 hours of the end of the grand prix will be taken into account and the Grand Prix Predictor scores amended accordingly.
Retrospective changes to official results imposed by judgements of the FIA Court of Appeal or the FIA World Motorsport Council will not be taken into account by the Grand Prix Predictor and player scores will not be amended.
Changes to qualifying results
In the event of any penalties or demotions regarding qualifying, pole position will be determined by whichever driver starts the grand prix from first position on the official starting grid.
The same policy also applies to most positions gained, which relates specifically to the difference between race start and finishing position.
Tie-breaker
In the event that two or more players score an equal number of points from a grand prix, the player who submitted their predictions earliest will be shown in the highest position in the league table and the player who submitted their predictions last will be shown in the lowest position.
The rules will also be applied to the Competitions including the Ultimate and race-by-race prizes, which will be specified in the terms and conditions of each Competition.
DEADLINES
You can change your predictions up to and including 5 minutes before the start of qualifying on the Saturday before each grand prix. Any changes made after this time will not take effect until the following grand prix.
LEAGUES
You have the ability to create and join Leagues in the 2015 AUTOSPORT Grand Prix Predictor. You can create private leagues, where you compete against your friends, and join global leagues.
Private Leagues
To create a league click create, give the league a name and then follow the instructions on the page. You will then receive a league code, which you can send to friends. They need to click 'Join League' and enter the code.

In the event of a tie, the player who entered their prediction earliest will be ranked above the player who submitted their prediction latest.
