Debt free by 28 whilst enjoying life :-)

Hello,
I have posted diaries on here before but forgot my password for my account.

The reason I have chosen 28 is because my debts started at 18 & it is more than achievable (I'm 24).
I have approx £4000 of personal debt.

The enjoying life stems from the fact that I'm no longer willing to spend far too much time making pennies. I had a baby last year & also want to cherish her early years and make memories.

What I'm going to do-
Minimal SB (daily poll, NOSO, codes) for Amazon
1poll (mainly using phone for Internet now, liked Valued Options but prefer a computer for that)
Do mumsurvey?
Try to be a top contributor for H3inz group each month (£5 voucher)
Apply for freebies I would actually like (pink parcel yesterday) & have priority moments
I also have Bzz & Supersavvy
Enter competitions for things I would actually like to win (had most luck on mag dailies will concentrate on these and maybe do some Fbook)
Market research if anything suitable comes up
Coupons/shopping apps

  • What have I been upto?

Spent yesterday cuddling, kissing, playing, singing and dancing (badly) :-) and trying to make home look in a semi reasonable state
Emailed person who is giving me some free advice in exchange for reference
    Sent message requests bayE payment
    Done some h3inz stuff
Got past £10 mark on 1poll
    Mumsurvey competition
Took little one to soft play (occasional meet up, usually 3.50 but certain weekday mornings £2 with toast& juice, although Lo too young for juice, also bought a coffee 1.20)
Withdrew actual cash (I usually always use my debit card)
Squeezed in lunch at home including l/o mash
We don't meal plan tend just to go by dates yester day we had parsley sauce with that days date and potatoes to use so had fish, mash and veg
Also use common sense re dates, have milk with yesterday date been using in my tea
    Library session (free)
Got one free coffee with loyalty card (couldn't get other to work on o2 but think it was an Internet problem and will work in future)
Been out for tea (we only go between 5&7 to our fave place as 1/3rd cheaper, partner paid in cash)
My partner has sold his old mobile (said I could have it if preferred but my phone works, is a nice size for me & I top up 7.50 a month)
Checked bank - old account gone over overdraft by few pennies, no charge as sorted
  • Done more h3inz stuff
Joined clicksens & filled out some profile information
Needed deo - checked if I had any thinking unlikely but I did (I thought it was body spray), also found 3 packs tissues just as have lovely cold and a pampers voucher & £1 in drawer
Been to baby group (tea for small donation), also bought a birthday card from there 99p so would have paid that in factory but went to a fave local charity instead

One debt remaining. Home improvement loan. 19months left.
  • Yesterday a bit of a write off.
Didn't go groups as didn't want to pass anything onto babies and not really up to it.
Just usual net stuff, all meals from home (using up stuff that needed to be)
Done shopping app today (milk OH picked up)
Have paid swimming lesson money of CC (doing this each week, had to pay up front when previous ly did not, council run lessons, sadly had to miss session as baby now not well)
Waiting until tomorrow to do proper shopping rather than going earlier in week as we had food until then, OH has voucher to use, if same price as elsewhere will stock up nappies

    Need to check BayE

Bought mum perfume she mentioned - used 'real' money
    Net stuff
Order home safety stuff & swimming nappy using vouchers
  • Food shopping - £9 voucher, £3 cashback, £2 vouchers - paid £11 on Bcard (£3 not yet) then treated myself to an ice cream :-) (from freezer)

Had toast for breakfast as had to take loaf out of freezer, may have some later with Nutella rather than cereal bar etc, have also been snacking on fresh fruit rather than goodies that will keep longer, will have L/O mash for lunch with veg that needs using and cheese

Family meal out Saturday night :-)

Joined toulana, built up some points but joined as hoping to get on some tests

Low spend for me yesterday and today
  • Net bits now including toulan polls/surveys, also applied for two tests
Yesterday - never got round to toast, jackets with salad and bolangise from freezer for t - trying to use some stuff from there, currently defrosting chicken
Not as low spend as planned - bought sleepsuits, was going to transfer money from selling baby clothes but used cash as wanted to make sure everything OK with sale, however need to take back as sizing to large anyway
Cereal for breakfast as full fat milk that needs using soon
Ordered 2 pairs leggings, pair of jeans and 3 vests £1 spent, used Xmas gift card & £10 OFF £40 SPEND DOROTHY PERKINS TODAY ONLY (free delivery)

    Net bits & pieces
2 large free hot drinks but bought cake - with cash, the reason I keep mentioning cash is b/c I usually pay for everything with debit card
OH wasn't hungry so had sandwich later on & we had omelette - used rest of bread for toast, also had toast as snack earlier in day, cereal again this morning used milk, chicken marinated for today
    Ellas kitchen FBook win
    Used scented candle (gift)
Got some books & dental stuff from HV
  • Net bits and pieces
Comping - changed twit email as was linked to inactive account - wonder if that's why I don't win from there?
Cooked chicken last night (I did it we both cook but have got in the habit of one of always doing certain things & I want to learn to do a bit more), saved enough for a sandwich
Took lunch to group with us yesterday - NSD for me used what Oh had for sandwiches night before & he had coleslaw opened with his salad last night
Hope to get to group today - usually 50p,always snacks for little ones, and sometimes for adults, also got some good freebies last time went
Had crumpets this morning - I had jam as we had some and it's not something we often use
Actually took sleepsuits back rather than putting off until last minute
  • Looked for little miracles drink in 2 superd**gs Wed - didn't find any
NSD yesterday - no contribution for group as sadly finishing next week
    Net bits
Fish & chips last night - freezer rather full atm
I had Ham & baked beans on toast for lunch as those things were open :)
    Paid swimming money off CC
