Palmolive looks like it worked to me, presume you paid £2 for 2 and got £1.98 back, or did you actually pay £3.98 ?
Just thinking aloud because thinking of getting some if still working as haven't bought any yet.

it will only work if your shop has the signs up still saying 2 for £2 then you can get the difference back if overcharged miss corrupted got charged full price but no signs i got refund as my store had signs xx

For me the palmolive didn't work. No multi came off

The Garnier conditioner is a seen trigger for a 2 for £4 offer

I'm not sure how you could be expected to see what you've been charged for individual items whilst you are busy packing your bags. I always check my receipt after paying and before leaving the store.
