Point 2 was a great achievement for me, in the past previous partners have just thought I was nuts, weird, boring, annoying or whatever with my moneysaving, glitching, moneymaking plans. You realise you've found a partner for life when comments like this are made. :rotfl:

All retailers put a hold on funds, sometimes £1, sometimes the full amount as A do. It can take up to 7 days in As case for that hold to be released from your pending payments. Different retailers take differing lengths of times to release funds and it's perfectly legitimate for them to do so.

Ringing your c/card company is totally uneccessary and any half decent CSA at your card company would have been able to tell you what is happening. It's certainley not disputable and your card company will soon recognise that.
