I have a c&c to get soon.It's for just over £40 inc 10 udis. I just checked my bank and sada have taken out the whole 40 odd surely they should take out the amount with udis priced at £1 ???
My understanding is that it's just an authorisation given by your bank which is done at the time of order to confirm you have sufficient funds to cover the transaction. When the shopping is picked and they calculate the correct amount to charge you, you are then charged with the lower amount - so it will always be the correct amount that appears on your statement, but they "earmark" the higher amount. Hope this makes sense! X

:rotfl: he's being serious... They "mark" the full amount on the system in the bank as taken but they take the actual cost out later.
I don't like my money being tied up so I use a credit card for my online shops:)
