Baby Isobel out of neo natal, still very sleepy and not feeding well but they want to try her with mum on the ward and see if she picks up. They have to stay in and await babs blood results and get her feeding properly but things looking better :T

Glad she's back with her Mum.

    Good evening all.

Well, we've just had a more spectacular eclipse than the one this morning. Sun been eclipsed by... the horizon:D, and it's going to go completely dark for several hours (unlike the couple of minutes for the Faroes earlier:p:rotfl:).

So, that's what a partial eclipse is like! It hardly even went twilight at all:( - although I did have a look at the sky at about 11am and was very bright, whereas the eclipse time had been a bit light blue, hardly noticeable at the time but, yes, there was one. We needed to be in the Faroe Islands, or Svalbard. (Hence my :p above.)

I have a womble:cool: - they were doing really well (potentially vs Morries as I always know more about that of course - they've got the Rolled Shoulder again but even with M increased price, A still not 10% cheaper, even if I wish they'd bought last weekend) but then they go and add a r'back Kenco coffee:(:( into the shop and probably ruin it all!:wall:

I see the £2.97:( Kenco refills on msm now virtually cut off all options except vs otherwise expensive Sainsbobs at £3. Morries showing as "---" on one of them and I hope they've bought that one but I suspect not and even if they have I can see a comp. of £2.97 vs £4.98:(. That is going to wipe out the rest of the APG, unless it leaves any at all. I'm not holding out hope but I'll see when it gets to check time later. R'back coffee is not a good idea to buy if you are trying to do an APG shop. Typical they also got 2 for 80p garlic, but unlikely to compare - for no apparent reason - loose garlic at 25p is continually in all of my Ms - and, anyway, I think they've ruined the comp. vs M and I suspect Sains. isn't going to be any good.

I had one done last year. Nothing to worry about.

I think they do them as quality control checks for themselves.

Have you been rejecting items quite often?

When I had one done they also called me to tell me that it was going to be done, and the reason given was to ensure that none of my items were missing from the order.

Thanks sd. I never reject anything. Only been doing one c&c each month this year. But Feb order had also been checked as I noticed a 2nd sheet of paper saying it had been double checked type of thing which I thought was odd as they had given me a pack of biscuits I had not ordered and neither the packer or the 2nd checker had noticed. xx
Cherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

A solar eclipse... "the first to be seen in the UK this century".

I'm not convinced. There was a solar eclipse on 31 May 2003 which was an annular one visible from North-Eastern Scotland and the Shetland Islands. The Shetland Islands are "in the UK" aren't they?
