Does anybody know if carex offer has finished in a5da now because it's no longer on a.com? Thanks.
Sorry, I scanned these earlier and it looks as though they should still be working today. There has never been any offer sels for them in my store and I meant to ask at cs but forgot.

If someone can get to their local and find out if the offer is still on then it looks like another day of fun can be had by all..:D

Don't judge me by my comment. It wasn't a moan, it wasnt a complaint it was a fact.
I do take them on the chin, every glitch that has gone wrong has been kept, I don't order stuff because it cheap, free, I order things I need and will use.
My comment was the amount paid was a bit too much for washing powder..had I ordered 3 persil it would have been £10... Therefore an extra £10.54 for a different brand...

And I was stating that since the price had doubled over nite most people will refuse so have lost nowt, why would anyone pay nearly £20 for 69 washes. ( still £11 ish after apg)
Refuse u get an nearly £9 apg on zero spend .
If you happy to pay full price keep them.
Ignore reality. There's nothing you can do about it.
    I have done reading too!
personally test's all her own finds

anyway I did manage to sort out one problem last night that was bothering me (and possibly also sorted out another as well.)

Treacle our walk-by cat has a skin problem that reoccurs every so often and gradually gets worse. When he is in the middle of an episode he has a 1/4 or 1/2 steroid injection which calms things down, stops the lick scratch lick scratch cycle and then peace and harmony returns

I really hate him having steroids so it’s always a last ditch thing and we reached that point this week. So I rang the vets only to find the lovely lady vet we saw last time who was fantastic with Treacle, completely bonded with him, has gone :D Barry our normal vet - retired but wont stop working and must be about 75 at least, very old school - would not be working until Monday and I didn’t want to wait until after the weekend.

So rather than wait I had to book with another new vet - this is as bad as seeing a new doctor, you have to explain all of the medical history from day one all over again, why is happens and when and the results etc - no one ever reads the notes.

I made the appointment and got OH to agree to drive me there but to sit in the car and not go into the vets with me but when we actually got there he still got out of the car. I think he thought I was joking but I sent him back to the car to wait. Talking any of the cats to the vets is stressful enough for me as well as the cats without having OH with me as well.

My trump card fortunately I did not have to play - it’s my name on Treacles paperwork (and also on Sophies and Ronnies as well) so as Treacles mum I am soley responsible for his health and well being so it should be only me in the vets with them.

OH projects his hypochondria onto the cats and if I had him in the surgery with me he would have monopolized the conversation and contradicted everything I said to the vet. According to OH all of our cats are on food strike and not eating any of their food and are all slowly starving to death. Sophie our tortoishell has lost all of her fur and is a nervous wreck and needs the cat equivalent of Valium. Needless to say none of this is true, the cats have a very healthy appetite and they have 8 types of dry and wet food to choose from so everyone has food they like. Sophie has a tiny bit of Alopecia on her rump and as far as I can tell no one ever died of having a bald bit on their bum.

So we got in and out of the vets – exactly as predicted, entire medical history re iterated but at least I didn’t have OH with me.
Yesterday Treacle spent the entire day hidden away in the wardrobe licking and scratching but today he asked to go out first thing, hung around a bit but has now settled on the flat kitchen roof for a mornings sunbathing which in itself will settle his skin and hopefully tonight it will be Gardeners World and cat cuddles on the sofa.

OH rather than be outdone by a cat booked himself a late appointment at the doctors and came back with a bag full of booty – 6 prescription items – no alcohol allowed with these so it’s a dry household again :)

    Deep sigh.

    Afternoon

The eclipse was a big let down here too. Thick cloud so didn't see a thing. I consoled myself by going on a CB free item spree :D One of my COS accounts was very generous this morning! Free 1.75l of either coke zero or coke life. My kettle chips all still have 3 days. So 1 bottle of coke, 4 kettle chips, I M&M yogurt and a friij milkshake.....free :money:

To all those feeling down.......SMILE :D it's International day of happiness. We all have something we can smile about ;)
  • Udis are a man's best friend.;)

Make sure you put them in all your cc shops A v T and you never have to worry about being overcharged or about refusing or returning items. Things are always cheap, free or better than free when Udis are involved..:D

Oh, and on the off chance that you do get some occasionally, it helps if your daughter loves them and that you have a couple of work colleagues who would have bought them anyway and appreciate the freebies.

My £20.50 Udi apg this morning more than covered the cost of the washing stuff..

    1 x Ariel 3in1 Pods Colour & Style - 19 Washes (19) £6.98 £5.00
    10 x Udi's Gluten Free Strawberry Toaster Pastries (5x5... £29.50 £10.00
    1 x Persil Small & Mighty Non Biological Liquid - 25 W... £6.78 £4.00
    1 x Persil Small & Mighty Biological Colour Liquid - 2... £6.78 £4.00
