Good success on my shop earlier - thanks OPs - orig. spend and APG of 20p less than orig. spend. I think the Shower Gels mostly paid for the Fanta:rotfl:. No fillers needed:D. So I'm well happy with some free handwash and shower gels and 10p each for a couple of Fantas*.
Everything bought on mbuy. Mbuys are a no-show. Except a couple for T on the SGs.
1 x Carex Nature Protect Anti-Bacterial Handwash with ...£1.78£0.90
1 x Carex Bacteria Protect Superior Anti-Bacterial Han...£1.78£0.90
1 x Carex Original Protecting Antibacterial Handwash (...£1.78£0.90
1 x Carex Aloe Vera & Eucalyptus Moisturising Antibact...£1.78£0.90
1 x Carex Bacteria Protect Superior Anti-Bacterial Han...£1.78£0.90
1 x Carex Moisture Plus Hydrating Antibacterial Handwa...£1.78£0.90
1 x Fanta Icy Lemon (2L)£1.83£1.00
3 x Radox Shower Gel - Cherry Blast (250ml)£5.70£2.25
1 x Radox Shower Gel - Berry Burst (250ml)£1.90£0.75
It does look like they really have cut the range of Fanta 2Ls available in A, as I couldn't find any of the weird dual flavours to use as any 'trigger'. Indeed, I didn't find many versions at all in my store (even accounting for some depletion caused by muggles thinking straight 2 for £1.85 is good). Fortunately they had a Fruit Twist though so all is well. For anyone interested, yes the Fanta Icy Lemon does compare vs M at £1 on the Monday price collection.
At least I managed not to mess anything up at the SS, that's the main thing:rotfl::rotfl:.
*Okay, I could have got 'better than free' if I'd got 7 Cherry Blasts instead of 3, but the voucher back would have been huge! So, I'm happy enough with what I have.0 -

Tell me about soft drinks cans packs earlier!:mad:(:rotfl:)
Some of the 6 cans packs are £1.59 in M (although Iceland £1.50) and therefore T £2.00 vs M £1.59 (not Northern Ireland).
It seems, however, two of my stores have put the £1.59 price up on only 7Up Original, Tango Orange and Tango Blood Orange and - less than half a job:( - have not bothered with the Tango Apple, Tango Cherry, Tango Aargh Citrus or 7Up Free. A further store has done the same, except that it does have the £1.59 on the 7Up Free.
A fourth store, seen on Wednesday, has got the offer showing for the full range - and even a price offer label:T clarifying that all these products are on £1.59. However, that store has full price showing on the Irn Brus:(:(:rotfl:.
I say 'thanks that's brilliant' for the price offer label on the 7Ups (including 7Up Free) and Tangos as it enables me to discover which are on offer. However, it's not brilliant as regards T PP. I suspect full prices may return on ones on which M does not appear to have produced a £1.59 SEL (by "SEL" I mean the price label, including the BC, rather than the red-bordered offer labels that I refer to as "offer labels" - even though they are shelf-edge and have prices on. The point is there is no place to scan the item and put data into a system from that. Though, for all I know, it may not work that way).
I noticed the odd yellow-bordered label now, that most people might assume is an offer or even may assume it means an everyday low price and therefore, quite wrongly IMO, assume it's good:rotfl:.
For the list, I'm just going to include the ones on Tvs M that I have with clear SELs. However, note that M do stock Tango Aargh Citrus, Tango Apple and Tango Cherry, even though none of those have M prices on msm (irrelevant to T PP anyway). 6x330ml cans packs. Regular 7Up is clearly £1.59 in M, even though msm currently has full price and out of stock marking. (It is neither!)0 -
Looks like we might have missed a Tesco Metro double discount glitch on rice today

Okay, M list is now finished - so an early night for me:rotfl:!
I've added a few items at the foot of the list, such as a Hello Kitty Tumbler at 60p. However, I was wondering whether that was a good price. There are also some Beverage Napkins in some Ms at 48p - normally I take lowest prices from some shelves, but 48p for Napkins not considered that good at all, yet I've decided to take the Tumbler price.
Elsewhere as well, quite a bit added onto the list in fact, perhaps more than expected, so do have a look - new items are in bold, so they can be immediately seen, for the next 24 hours or so (most likely somewhat longer if I don't get to transferring them to my own check list for checking next time - I tend to get weary and do that last thing on a Sunday immediately before the next check is due:(:rotfl:) - plus I've sneaked some Winiary Mushroom Sauce into the "Packets and Cereals" section (of Avs M), fwiw, was available on Monday but didn't add it earlier - sorry:o (not really:p:rotfl:). (There's an explanation, as ever:D - reason is that I am under no obligation to do any M list at all, so I need not be sorry for anything as no obligation to do anything and not really a fault anyway - just a temporary lack of perfection:D:D:eek::rotfl:).
Good day!:)
Before I go folks - do have a look back at my post, number 5000:D (of 1.28am if the number changes), as I have been dealing with the M list instead but I'm sure someone can continue from where I've left off to see if they can find the 97p item (whether on 2 for £3 or not) and might be something very good there. (Sorry I've no time at the moment to go into a.com and then msm to look - I've done enough; should be quite easy for you to go and continue to what I should have found that I start hinting at towards the end:). TIA.)
Bye; see you later!:wave:0 -
