    Morning all

I did ladbrokes yesterday via tcb- £25 cb for £10 bet. Still waiting for it to track.

But then I didn't get anything back from the William hill thing last year so I don't know why im hoping for this one to track :o

My first go on this sort of thing was not entirely successful. I went with Paddy Power - they added a bonus to my account, but wanted a security check done to confirm my ID:mad: and the system wouldn't let me withdraw anything in the meantime. By the time the security check was done, the bonus had expired (not entirely happy as I felt this fact in the T&Cs wasn't properly drawn to my attention - it's no good having it in T&Cs that no-one reads, something like this that is very significant ought I feel to be drawn specifically to people's attention - and result was like them taking money from an equivalent to a bank account that I had with them - almost tantamount to theft:mad::mad:. That was my money, as a 'bonus', in my account - how can my money 'expire'?!? Because I didn't withdraw it, but then had no ability to withdraw it, contrary to my own wish to do so, as the system did not allow me to do so before my ID had been verified. Not happy to be told later that the 'bonus' had expired within 48 hours - after they took longer than that with their own security check process). I had won my stake back though, so just withdrew my stake. And whilst I never got the bonus:mad:, fortunately it ended well - although the CB did not track properly, it was submitted as a missing CB claim and, much to my surprise, it eventually got approved for the full amount, so I got the 'profit' I expected back.

Kept logging in and out of my account at intervals in the meantime to try to show some activity:rotfl:. I'd originally bet on red and black in the roulette to win. They cottoned on though and changed their T&Cs of the CB so that people couldn't win on the roulette in future in the way I'd done by covering almost all of the options.

I'd inflict it on you lot too but every time I try load a video it keeps crashing  :rotfl:

I bought 4 eggs so one shows at full price £5 plus one from the 3 for £10 (£3.33)

Would make more sense if the apg showedlike this...

    1 x Nestle Kit Kat Chunky Retro Mug & Egg (196g) £5.00 £1.50
    1 x Nestle Kit Kat Chunky Retro Mug & Egg (196g) £3.33 £1.50

    2 x Nestle Yorkie Egg & Mug (192g) £6.67 £3.00

No, because that would be two different items. Wombles earlier were generally no good - first time I've had that many of them turn out to be no APG at all. Generally 10% cheaper - items they are buying that lose out, such as the Douwe Egberts on two separate receipts:(, the £2 Pepsi cans losing out and the 3 for £10 Persil laundry turning out to be way more expensive elsewhere. I did have one hit though, on one where someone had bought Easter eggs at 3 for £10:rotfl:. Sadly not a complete comparison, as one of the ones they bought was the Minstrels egg that is N/A for T, but got £3.33 vs £1.50 on two others. I so wish that they had not bought the Minstrels at all though, as the APG would have been over £3 more than what it was if they had just bought the other two at full price:rotfl:. Nonetheless, T overall was cheaper. I like it when (on the comparables) another place is cheaper:T:T and not merely a "not 10% cheaper than...":(:rotfl:.

there are many many truly evil acts of cruelty and abuse that can ever be justified and they are just the tip of the iceberg xxx
thank you BB I must say I am humbled by peoples kind words it's such an incentive to carry on xxx:D
I,too, am in awe of 3Dogs and her dedication I follow the campaign and she and her team mates are quite simply awesome xxx:A

Yes, you will carry on, as you said, we are the voice of the voiceless :A

And thank you for your kind words. I got involved in the plight of the Romanian dogs when my local rescuer started to accept them to find homes for them and then got heavily involved in a few groups in particular, with fundraising, finding homes for the dogs coming over, etc as well as now having my two old dear Rommies. What I see and hear of on FB every single day is very very bad, and one picture in particular made me join a protest in London - my first protest and that was at age 60 lol. Since then I have protest many times in London as well as in Brussels in December outside the European Parliament and plan on visiting Bucharest Romania in June to see what goes on for myself

I know that some cannot face what is happening around the world, and accept that. But I cannot turn my back on the animals in need, or turn away from the pictures as this does not stop it happening. Only making people aware of what is going on and protesting our Government and the European Parliament and Romanian Government can do that. As auto-armadillo says, we are their voice

I also have to add that my life fell apart as you all know when my MrDogs passed away, and I was in limbo for 18 months, but the plight of the Romanian dogs plus other animal cruelty all over the world, has given me purpose in life, so I get as much out of helping them as they get from my help.; Sometimes it swamps me too, but we go on, there is no other choice :(

The real heroes in my opinion though are the people on the ground, in Romania, and elsewhere, who actually face this cruelty every day of their lives, and help the animals even though in some circumstances this puts them in danger

    There endeth tonight's lesson lol
