this is a !!!!!! womble from the 13th - it is very unusual t get any wombles in this store, the car park must have the most efficient trolley boys anywhere. It produced a small TPP sadly this was not also abandoned.
nothing much of any interest but if thye had walked across the road to Home Bargains the mature cheddar would have been £1.68 and the yogurt would have been 49p
and possible a few other things on their list would also have been cheaper

Thought I'd try my hand at the betfair thing. Deposited £20, played through it, and won £40. :T
However, its only letting me withdraw £20, which I've done, but still showing as £20 on my account. Can I not withdraw that amount because its the value of my original deposit? Do I have to play through that (and probably lose this time!)?

Anyway here is what happened to us on Morrisons car park – quite a lot of it is to do with fate and being in the right place at the right time but mainly OH through being quick witted and nimble.
We came out of the store and were putting the shopping in the car when I realised one of my wombles needed the attention of a Points Adder so OH went back into store as I put the trolley away. As I put the trolley in the trolley bay I found another womble so I rang OH but he said he was at the head of the queue so he refused to come and collect the newest receipt It was a good job he refused otherwise he would not have been able to do his good deed of the day.
He came back to the car and we set off, to the junction off the car park. Our petrol station is opposite the car park. We noticed a car at the petrol station suddenly go into reverse and do a swinging reverse and disappear off to another pump – a bit odd we thought but no madder than anything else that happens at petrol stations.
It turned out that it was avoiding another car. The car infront at the first pump was slowly drifting backwards out of the petrol station without its driver, away from the petrol station and across the road. OH leapt out of our car and across the road, tried the handle of the run-away vehicle but it was locked. He then went behind and stopped the car from rolling any further backwards – only at this point did another chap come to help, everyone else was just driving around and avoiding it.
It wasn’t moving very fast but it would have had enough weight and momentum to mount the pavement and then colide into another parked car if it were not for OH stopping it in its tracked.
We then waited by the car which was in the middle of the roadway at right angles and after a few minutes the owner appeared running across totally aghast at what had happened – she had put fuel in, shut and locked the driver’s door, went in to pay for petrol, in doing so had set the car in motion - the parking brake was off and the car was not in gear.
She was en route to the hospital to see a friend whose friend had just been diagnosed. That momentary lapse when her mind was not totally focused nearly cost her very dear, the insurance company would not have paid up for any damage her car would have done to the stationary car (or even several cars) on the car park.
So the moral of the tale I suppose is always leave your car in first gear, triple check your parking break is on and don’t drive if you your concentration is not totally 100%, this is when mistakes can be a made.
As I’ve said before we can’t leave the house, even to do a simple supermarket trip without something or other happening to us …

My Morribobs womble was a strange one, just 2 items - both carling and looking at mys he got a 10 can one for £7 and a 20 can version for £14.
The bigger one is cheaper by £1 elsewhere but no one else seems to sell the other so the match points should have been £1 worth - 1000 but instead they are 1500 so an extra 50p somewhere.
I am just short of another Morribobs fiver but I am a bit worried they might not be able to add any points on so soon after the last addition.
I also did a £15 shop today to get the additional 500 points as per the email update they sent up but these are not showing yet - might check again on Thursday to see if they have updated.
Morribobs have a good offer on cottage perenials - 2 for £3, mostly low growing ones but still some interesting choices. So I got 6 of these and a lovley lemon balm for £2.50 plus some reduced veg
I then realised was still a bit short of the £15 total so I got a set of 6 Butchers cat food for £3.65 (?) these have a try me free flash - you need to send your receipt. On checking COS afterwards the cashback for these has gone up to £1.50 :T
