I'm sorry to hear this, I hope they find a treatment that works for her.

I received some news about my German friend last night, her cancer has metastasized pretty much everywhere in her body and she also has a brain tumour now. As they moved her to hospital her spine cracked as well :(

I'm so sorry to hear that purpledonkey, thats so sad. Its such an indiscriminate, cruel disease.

I think maybe because she has been so well it has lulled us into a false sense of security a little. I was convinced it would be good news today. I guess the fact she has seemed so well even through the chemo is that maybe it hasn't been doing what its been meant to be doing.

Anyway, onwards and upwards. We are going away the week after next, a couple of girlie days up north, so really looking forward to that. We will eat lots of cake (screw the diet!), gossip, mooch around and generally have fun and not talk about cancer nor let it get us down.

I think if my payout doesn't come through by tomorrow I'll have a little live chat with Quidco, see what's what.

This is the baby box I've managed to make for my friend who is expecting in July. Added it all up and I've spent £23. Pleased with that :) Just out of shot are some clothes I couldn't fit into picture from Ts glitch & Sains sale- blooming photobucket app is playing up!

I've put the Daffs. under the Fruit & Veg. section on the M list.

Definitely not to be consumed or mistaken for fruit or veg. though!
