Just seen that Sir Terry Pratchett has passed away.

Speechless.

So much pleasure reading his books, even met him at a book signing once.

Getting the new Discworld novel was an annual treat. I know it is not completely unexpected, but still shocked.

I just hope that He has some unpublished bits still to come, and there has always been talk of of his very talented daughter writing some too.

His sandtimer finally ran out....

Ill one still off we have no idea when she going to return didn't even let cook know she had sent in another sick note area manager told her but we don't know how long it was for.

We have counted up and ill one will have been off 6 months at Easter so will she wont she be back after Easter :think: if she isn't she will go on half pay.

Just got home. Pre-op assessment is booked for June, which is at least something positive (normally I have to chase it as they seem to forget). They want me to have yet more bladder tests before my op, as last lot of urodynamics were done in August. Not sure its going to show them anything different, but hey ho.
