I disagree with this part
"that business is now 100 euro down plus the value of the goods it was used to 'pay' for!"
Yeah, they are technically less than €100 down as the purchased product didn't cost what the retail price was.
Anyone got any of these €100 notes? might be worth a trip to NI.We’ve had to remove your signature because your opinion differs from ours. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why you can not have your own opinion on here and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Fwiw, these are also 50p in M. ( I say 'also' as msm shows in Tomato Sauce at 50p for M, but these two are also in M at 50p: )
Crosse & Blackwell 4 Kids Scooby-Doo Meatballs in Gravy (370g)
89p
Crosse & Blackwell 4 Kids Scooby-Doo Meatballs in Bolognaise Sauce (370g)
89p
It's no good! I was hoping for an mbuy glitch at A - that's the only reason those 50p prices for M were taken today - but, no luck, as neither stocked in A.0 -

I knew what I mean but probably didnt phrase it correctly.i meant that the big supermarkets could afford to write It off whereas a small business would suffer,....unless I took your first comment wrongly, iykwim.

No, I couldn't care less if it's a big or small retailer
I just view the retailer as being down LESS than €100, not more than €100Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
I've joined the Group of you that are waiting for the Quidco Christmas bonus, now having all 13 transactions Paid or Confirmed. I hope they realise that every day they delay puts a bigger dent in their reputation.0
