I never bother cashing any back in - I just keep a float ready for next time. The rate for euros is excellent at the moment and I have bought a stack ready for the next visits. I think its the highest its been for quite a few years.

We are off to lanzarote in a week. Already have my euros from last time but I'm going to stock up on more. Was looking for an excuse to anyway :rotfl: I find a euro stash makes it easier to persuade myself that I need yet another holiday in a few months time! :D

Concerned for myself this morning. Just tried to order the mispriced sofa at dunelmo. We don't need a sofa. And it won't fit in my stash cupboard or under the bed :rotfl: what is wrong with me?? :rotfl:

    Hmmm but tricky to hide...
    How bigs the shed??:rotfl:

please can I ask a question about Euros

I have Euros left off from when we went away - am I better just to hang onto them rather than exchange them back?

would it be an idea to buy more and hang onto them?

we have nothing booked but its quite possible we will be away again sometime this year if and when the right deal comes up

We never change back, we always buy when we are abroad as always a better exchange rate- but we have been going to the same place for many years now and so know our bearings. But yesterday euros rate was 140 , if the rate stays high when we go away in a few weeks time we will buy ready for our summer break- not that we spend much. We go sc last year I picked up fillet steak with yellow sticker on for 1 euro instead of 14, and chicken with 8 portions in again 1 euro- what was even better it was on offer 3 for 2, and lidl for the rtc perishables.:) so still mse even when on holiday, I cant stop and grudge spending more than I have to:)

Does anyone have trouble printing apgs?
It's printing them but there's a 5 min delay between every page prompt, it's driving me nuts:( I've been doing the 1/2 hr now and ive only printed 5.

It's not the printer or laptop as I've been using those normally all morning:(

noooooooo this looks way too iffy i'm not claiming it :rotfl:

You can't tell if its been actually used or not ! All you can be sure of is if it has been claimed/printed already - if it hasn't been claimed you will be asked for your email and name etc before it goes to the Print page. If so then it can't have been used because it hasn't been previously printed - so you can safely use it. (Somebody perhaps dropped it as they were coming out of the store and are now hunting high and low looking for it !)

If it goes straight to the Print page without asking for details then it has already been claimed and you should ditch it (its POSSIBLE that it was lost before being used but there is no way to tell so safest to destroy).

    Skip past

Mrs Fourp is in her final hours

Obviously Tenby is cancelled - just have to break news to friends who were going with us.

Do I go to Foourp now or wait until Friday when house sitter is booked & I will be better organised

I don't know what to do?

Fourp says to wait until Dr been - but trains here only run 2 hourly. It is an hour bus journey then to hospital.
If I catch 10.30 I will be there at 3.30 - then I have to catch 7.30 train home as last one.

Looks like todays chance of going is fading.

Sat here in nightwear full of confusion.

    Sorry
So sorry to hear this Snap-ant. From your previous posts it sounds like Mrs Fourp has put up a good fight. Its a hard decision to make but personally I would go today if this is possible so you can be with Fourp if the worst happens sooner rather than later.
Thinking of you whatever you decide :A

even on holiday we go and have a look at the carefors and Lidls and local supermarkets - in Saint-Nazaire we tortured ourselves looking at the wine section with 5 bottles for 5 euros :rotfl: I didn't bother with the Tesco mystery bottles for months afterwards - it all seems far too expensive :D
