Hi. We are getting married on the 6th June and are about to get our invites made and sent out.
Our parents are contributing greatly for our day so the invite at the moment starts-
Mr and Mrs bloggs and mr and Mrs bloggsy request the pleasure of your company at the marriage of their children
Followed by our first and middle name.
I think the children part sounds a bit weird seeing as we are 32 and 26, so can anybody else suggest other wording for our invites?

Yeah sounds better I'll suggest those. Really don't like children included.

As we had a complicated scenario due to divorced parents on my side (and now no contact with father) and then my OH's mum passed away a few years back however Grooms Dad and Brides mother were both contributing we used:
Together with their parents
first middle and last name (bride)
and
first middle and last name (groom)
request the pleasure of the company of
(invitees names)
To celebrate their marriage
On (date written out)
Ceremony at (time written out)
at
(Venue name and address)
Reception and Dancing to follow
Hope that helps a little xEngaged 25/12/2013 :T
