So having had them installed on 4th March i now have my first bird poo on one ! So whats the score regarding this problem . Surely over time several bird poos must interfere with the generation ?
Haven't had any rain since the install so a bit of the poo will wash off in the rain but what about the summer when we can go weeks without any ?

I wouldn't worry about it too much, unless you're near the seaside and have regular flocks of seagulls depositing on your panels.
