Thats a shame you get this trouble. Can you not shop at another tescos? I presume youve probably already tried that right enough. I thought all tescos would have to adhere to it if its tesco ho policy. Have you tried contacting head office to tell them about the trouble you are having.

    mrs t

Its not worth my while to travel further to shop and I don't do too badly over all. The policy has been 5 mocs since I moved here 17 years ago, sometimes more tight than others, and they have clamped down pretty hard since last year.

I was told recently of a couple that were "escorted from the shop" for their coupon use a few weeks back and don't feel its worth causing too much trouble, as it might earn a no moc policy, or a store ban for me.

Some savings is infinitely better than no savings.

I think you need one item per points coupon so just add 3 bars of cheap soap and you will be fine to use four points coupons :)

    This always gets me :)

Do you mean that the till will take the total of say.. £40.75 and allow 4 x 250 points coupons, even if , as in this example..
    1 item £40
    3 items 25p?

I always try to work it out in groups of £10, but invariable its more, i.e. 2.99 x 4 bogof etc etc.
I started off with nothing and I've still got most of it left.

  • Hi I now have some 250 points on a £10 spend thanks to kind members on here. Do I have to spend £10 if not what can I purchase please. Thanks

You do have to buy Health and Beauty Products, However you do not need to spend £10.
If you buy items that are on BOGOF (and the complete total is more than £10) then the 250points can be used. This is because the tills accepts the voucher before applying the discount.

    E.G.
    4 x Shampoo @ £2.50 each on BOGOF = £10 spent (before discount)
This means that the voucher for 250 points can be used.
The till then applies the BOGOF so all you pay is £5

The vaseline cocoa butter moisturiser is really really nice, smells delicious and my hands are so soft now I keep looking really creepy just sitting there stroking them like a bad Bond villain. :p
