Had jollies the other night with multiple pharmacy transactions, each exceeding £3 for the summer y.k.w. - Elizabeth Arden 'Splendour' Eau de Parfum(not e.d.t.)reduced to £3.33. Very worthwhile, I think.
Don't know if it's in all Branches.
You're right, Sian the Green - quote:I guess the combinations are endless...
Did more toothpaste for DTD, too, en route to more £10/250 point spendies.
    This H&B leaflet really is a good'un.
Also check for Seven Seas Cod Liver Oil capsules, 30's, reduced to 77p from - variously - £3.05 and £3.32 and £3.97(dear Mr T, all observed for the selfsame item, in 4 Branches witihin 10 miles).
It's all feeling most helpful this time.

Now here I show my ignorance...

When I used the 250 point coupon at a self-scan in one store it worked great but when I tried it with BOGOFs at the another store without self-scans yesterday the SA subtotalled my shop and then the voucher wouldn't scan. I decided to leave my toiletries which meant an annoying wait for an assistant to void the transaction...

Is there some way around this or do I need to only use self-scan tills?
    Thanks

    Hi Sian, welcome to MSE

It should have been fine on a manned till, this is what I do all the time. Are you sure you spent over £10 before bogofs? It doesn't matter about the subtotal, I suspect that the sa didn't press the total button which means that no coupons would have gone through, this has happened to several people trying to use coupons.

    I would just try again.

Look for orangey coloured cover. Found today tightly wedged under pharmacy assistant's elbows (practically).

Also some points coupons in a leaflet re Tesco photo processing but maybe not such a good deal unless you were planning to order personalised products anyway...?

They're not too bad - 200 points on a £10 spend, one for each month of May/June/July/August.
It does mean that you can think of that spend 'costing' £2, with the £8 Deals return+10/20points, according to whether or not you use CC or CC+ to pay.

I had a confusing day at Tesco yesterday. Spent £29 odd and done my usual " I dont know which of these I can use" senario with my moc,s. The nice lady says " oh I,ll just scan them all" thing, and off she went. I had multiples of some coupons e.g. 50p off something from the Metro all collected on the same day ect. Some scanned and some didnt, annoyingly the good one from RED mag didnt but the odd thing was, I had them all mixed up and the same coupon which wasnt taken by the till one one occasion was taken a few mocs later. In the end only about £9 was taken . Weird.

If you have 2 identical coupons, and they try to scan them one after the other, theres a timer on the till so it wont let them both go through as it thinks they might have scanned one coupon twice, so if the SA waits a few seconds it will then go through.
