Thank you wirehair, is there anyway I can do it with shampoo/shower gel etc??? Im not sure plax would go down too well in a hamper!

You could do 2x Tresemme Shap. @3.99 = £7.98
2x Dove bodywash @£2.28= £4.56
4x Lynx shower gel @£1.88=£7.52 = £20.06
Less Boggofs = £10.03
to Pay =£10.03

Use 2x £2.50 HB
4x £1 HB To Pay £1.03

But the plax and colegate coupons will go to waste .
I prefer the cashier ( young guys with fancy hair work best)

Use... All your coupons & receive 2p off your shopping....

Of course I've only added the value toothpastes to get the sums right.. but you could add a couple of better quality 65p aquafresh toothpastes instead & use a moc from the Tesco countdown mag that scan on anything to make up the shortfall of around 0.90p.

Just noticed a glitch. It may be mentioned before!

Simple shower gel 1.89 bogof takes off 1.99. A whole 10 pennies yah!!!

I made a balls-up in Tescos today, which ended up with a strange result and I wonder if anyone smart on here can figure out what happened?

I bought:

2 x Treseme Shampoo
2 x Aquafresh Toothpaste
1 x 36p soap

Total before BOGOFF = £12.16.

I was going to use 2 x £1.25 & 2 x 40p from QK and 3 x £1 (toiletry) & 5 x 50 extra points from H&B, but I used coupons from the wrong pocket and.....

3 healthcare coupons were returned (I hadn't bought any!), but the SA/till accepted 1 x £2.50 and 3 x £1 - all from h&b?????!!!! (I also used 1 x 50 extra points and 2 x 40p toothpaste).

Why????....and how can I do it again????!!!!

(I wish I had've figured out what was happening at the time. I would've tried to give her some more!)

Any ideas?

You had spent over £12 before BOGOF on H&B, therefore 1 x £2.50 and 2 x £1 H&B will go through. The 40p toothpaste coupons work on any toothpaste, so basically, thats right. If you had some So Beautiful you could have used the £2.50 coupon from that, plus 2 x £1.25 Quit. You'd have also been able to use another 4 points coupons.

I think you'd have also been able to use 2 x toothpaste coupons from the Bright & Balanced booklet too.

Are you sure??? Surely you can't combine the two H&B toiletry vouchers on the same spend like you can when combining from different packs (QK or SB)?

If you can, I've missed a trick!

2 x plax 2.86 each
2 x aquafresh toothpaste 1.96 each
2 x palmolive handwash 1.54 each
1 x tesco own paracetamol 39p

total before bogof 24.87
after bogof 12.63

coupons
3 x £1 healthcare h&b
1 x £2 healthcare qk
2 x 40p colgate qk
1 x 2.50 sb
1 x 2.50 h&b
2 x £1 beauty+toiletry h&b

plus 3 x 50 pointers h&b - dont want to be too greedy!! lol

12.63 - coupons 12.80 = -17p

btw thought id let you know im getting braver. paid £3.71 for £28.75 stuff - mostly the above...

Good stuff. If you have enough, you could use 2 x £1.25 QK also (they do run out quick though!)
