TESCO H&B COUPONS - Thread 3 *See First Post for UPDATES*

I would be grateful for a bit of advise......my local asda will accept moc's even if you don't buy the actual item (I asked my usual SA, she also said that she has no limit on the number she takes!!!!) but would they take the coupons from the tesco mag (like the 30p off Hovis) which have tesco printed on them??? I didn't want to probe the SA too much!!

P.S. I know this is a tesco thread, I'm not going mad, but I thought if anyone will know, you guys would!!!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Just back from MrTs

Did 2 shops of
2 Oral B toothbrushes
2 lynx shower gel
2 colgate pump toothpastes
and some groceries

I am trying to buy things I can use (and have room for ,hence stocking up on toothbrushes,got 4 yesterday!)

First checkout picked good SA that I have used twicw this week ...ooppps he announces "we're just changing over!:eek: .............too late all my shopping was on the belt.A middle aged woman took over but seemed friendly we discussed the 3 for £3 robinsons deal.But then when I handed over coupons she scrutinised them all and wouldn't take the £1 H&B since I had used £2.50H&B..........then gave me back all my MOCs as not bought products:mad:

I needed to use up my Tropicana ones as they run out today!:mad:

As I used £2.50 S&B and £1.25 quits and 40p toothpaste and a smile coupon ,It was still a bargain!!!!!!

I decided to try again before I lose my nerve so I dumped that lot in the car and went back for more...!!!!

Spotted my all time fave SA so felt safer second go!

Found reduced Pudz in the freezer section,the Pannacotta with raspberries is scrummy+++++++
So got 6 with my H&B as above!!!!
SA happily scanned all coupons so I left a happy bunny!

Lesson :- Avoid female SAs over 45!!!!

I dont see why not, the coupons begin with 99, which is recognised as being Nationally Acceptable......you could always try one......Some of us have used other stores coupons at other stores...........(in the past...of course)

Had some good shops today, combined Plax with clothes to pay 4p for a lot of clothes and 28 Plax. Also had a few HB shops as well....Multiple coupons still being accepted.(40 per transaction on two occassions)...Posted clothing transactions on appropriate thread.

40 coupons??? Was that all in one go to buy 28 plax all at once? You`re braver than me . I had a few KBs with large H&B shops so now just stick to £10/£12 ones.
