Will i get a mortgage quite easily with this?

    Well they will definitely present a risk. They are black marks on your credit history. The trouble is knowing generally which lenders look only at more recent stuff, or indeed which lenders use which CRA.

    In your case i would be tempted to use a broker, they will have expertise in this area. Hth's andy

    This problems on the file could be a problem with some H2B Lenders.


    Not something you should be going alone on - engage an independent mortgage broker, unless you have already done so.

  • I would also like to no how serious an AP is. As a freind of mine has an arrangement to pay in 2013 on mail order account. Are AP as serious as a default? He is also looking at the HTB equity loan.

    An AP means you have not keep to a credit agreement and had to come to a new arrangement with the creditor.


    Understandably, this is of concern to a mortgage Lender.


    Anyone with any adverse credit on their file looking at the H2B EL scheme needs to tread carefully with their mortgage. The bulk of lenders in this market are very conservative with regard to adverse risk.
