My son bought this yesterday and he thought it was either a mistake in the price or a big bargain - I wouldn't know as it's not something I would ever use
He bought a 2 tonne RAC Hydraulic Trolley Jack plus 2 axle stands from Woolworths, instore only I think as it's not on the website. They were marked down to £19.99 which he thought was a good buy anyway, until he got to the till and it came up as £14.99. Worth a look in your local Woolies if you are after such an item
Official insert. This was originally posted a few weeks ago but Woolworths still seem to be selling them at this price according to a MoneySaver further down this thread.

Yeah I bought a couple (one for me and one for my dad) of these 2 weeks ago and spent all day telling all my friends what a good deal I'd got.
Don't try and walk home with them though - they weigh 12kgs each. I thought my arms would drop off and I only live rund the corner from my Big W (woolies)

ah, ok, so this has been around for a little while and probably isn't a Grabbit then
I'll move this to Shop but don't drop0 -
I've just been out and bought one, good find as they are £29.99 in Argos.0

Check out your local cheapie back street car parts stores and you`ll see that these prices are the "normal" price. Im pretty sure I bought a 2tonne trolley jack & 2 axle stands for 10->12quid from my local cheapie carparts store the other year.
I do a lot of car mechanic work, so they get a lot of use. The only complaint with the axle stands was that they were "collapsable" ones for easier storage.... whilst they still are rated to 2 tonnes, they just dont look as sturdy as the solid ones and so dont inspire quite as much confidence in you when your working under the car!0 -
Just a quick bump of this thread. Managed to pick one up this weekend for £14.99 from Woolworths. Last one in the store (Staines), but the price was less than half the price of a Halfrauds 2 tonne version without the axle stands or wheel wedges!
Thanks to the OP, and they are still out there!

If you don't need the axle stands Hypervalue in South Wales offer a 2ton jack in a carry case for £10 nicely made unit they also sell many other tools for very low prices most are surprisingly good quality some not so good but visual inspection will allow you to check. Other items are also cheap I got a German 6 place stainless steel steak knife & forks set for £3, hollow ground blades with rivetted black handles amazing value. No reliance should be placed on the above.0

If your local Woolies do not sell it, mention it at the checkout to one of the members of staff there.
All woolworths stores are able to make "online" type orders for items they no longer have stock of and they are delivered to your home.
Look for points in stores which mention "in store ordering" and the like... means even the smallest Woolworths stores (Colwyn Bay & Shaw to name a few) have full access to ALL items throughout the WW range.0
