Getting my name off my ex-fiance' mortgage?

We broke up thats all thats all thats really relevant. She paid the deposit and we were only in the house 4 months.
I'm happy to walk away and leave my 4 months of half motgage payments behind but I want my name off the mortgage asap.
How do I go about doing that?
She has also happy for me to leave her with the home, so its not some kind of running away effort. We both want out ties cut.

It's called a transfer of equity and she would need to pass affordability for the resulting mortgage in solely her name (assuming nobody else is going to be involved).
Note: it is not a foregone conclusion that the she will pass affordability therefore you could potentially be on the mortgage for a while longer yet.0 -
Thanks. I read a bit about it on while waiting for a reply. I guess my credit will be an issue until its all sorted. Not the best spot to be in but ah well.0

Hello,
I was in a similar situation - however, i was the one living in the property and it was being transferred to me.
I would suggest that she does an affordability check online. If she earns enough then the mortgage can be transferred to her sole name.
It cost me around £700 to complete due to Lender fee's and solicitor fee's.0
