What you need to do...

We are asking all mothers, mothers-to-be, stepmothers to write a short poem that truly captures the essence of a mother’s love.

Our budding poets are encouraged to use their imaginations, whether it’s humorous, sincere, emotional or profound, all we ask is that it gives a true insight into the exceptional bond between Mother and child. Prize Details

One family room for three nights (including breakfast) at any one of the Luxury Family Hotels for up to two adults and three children under the age of 16 (excluding Thornbury Castle)
The important bits...

Entries need to be submitted via [EMAIL="poems@busybees.com"]poems@busybees.com[/EMAIL] by midnight Sunday 8th March.

The winning poem will be chosen by a panel of expert judges*, before being announced on Mother’s Day Sunday 15th March via the Busy Bees website, where the winning poem, and nine runner up poems will be published.

Judges will be:

• June Crebbin - National Poet
• Marg Randles - Founder, Managing Director of Busy Bees, Marg Randles
• Siobhan Freeguard – Founder of Netmums

Terms and conditions:

The prize is valid for redemption until 20 December 2015 excluding school holidays and bank holiday weekends. The prize is subject to availability at the time of booking. It is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Please note that children’s meals will be charged as taken.
