Personally I found doing some mock papers, reading the book, doing more mock papers and reading where I needed to followed by more mock papers did the trick for me.

The books is maybe £80? Mock papers are 10 a penny on ebay.

Hi thanks for your reply, I have registered with the IFS and have the material provided by them for module 1 , I am going through this at present and feel that the on-line tool maybe beneficial as i seem to learn better online, therefore wanted to gain opinions of where i can get the CDT resource cheaper than £200 as well as experiences of anyone who has used it.

Fair enough, its not something I can help with personally.

I tended to find if I do my learning on my laptop or online I get distracted by football manager or facebook. I need to just go and find a room with no distractions.
