Hi has anyone bought a shared ownership property if so wat kind of deposit did u need, 5% of your share or 5% of total property value?

New to the idea of buying and have got confused.

When I purchased my Shared Ownership, my deposit was 10% of my 30% share of the property. Not the total property value.

You can get 100% of the share and no deposit. One lender.

Normally, you'll need 5% deposit (one lender for newbuild, more if second-hand resale.)
