Child Maintenance Payments

As I do not receive child maintenance either via a court order or the CMS, I have been asked to supply evidence that it has been paid in the last two years. The bank is unable to categorise these payments together so I am going to have order statements for the last 24 months.

Can I black out all the other transactions so that only the child maintenance payments are shown?

TIA.

Only if you want to thoroughly p*** off any broker or underwriter involved !!

..... and thereby invite some extremely probing questions.

  • In theory yes you could but in practice anyone with half a brain looking at your statements will have alarm bells ringing. Better fess up to if I think. Any other way you could prove it? Does your ex keep any record of it that could be used?

Thank you. I have no contact with ex and he certainly wouldn't do anything to assist. I think I shall contact the solicitor and ask if she would confirm.
