How would you go about setting up a ltd company after a bankruptcy has been discharged? Is it possible to get a bank account for the company? Thanks

Hi,
I think you would find it very difficult to obtain a Company bank account following a recent bankruptcy, even a couple of years afterwards.
Setting up a company itself is quite easy (there are several start up services out there at a cost of around £30 ish)
Do you need to be a ltd company? Could you start as a sole trader?

I found it straightforward. I/m with Lloyds. Have company debit cards cheque book and overdraft. Think you will find its easier to open a business acc than a personal one.0

Thanks for the advice. The person concerned will have more access to agency work if he becomes a ltd co so it would be beneficial.0
