Don't panic everyone. The OP is only preceded by html:// instead of mailto: which is why some browsers will show security warning.

To avoid this in future avvie just click the mail button which looks like
ONLY when posting a 'new thread' or using 'go advanced' editing. It's TWO to the right of the 'insert link' button and will not display in the standard 'quick reply' window.
