Re-mortgaging - didn't realise I'd need a solicitor!

    The second charge on the mortgage is actually just security for a business overdraft facility, I haven't actually borrowed any money.
    I say it has turned into a complete remortgage because I have had to fill in numerous forms relating to income, who lives in the property and all the other sorts of things you are asked when you apply for a mortgage, the only thing they haven't asked for is a survey of the house. Also, all the correspondance from the Woolwich has thanked me for deciding to remortgage with them.
    I'm starting to think I should ring them and complain, the girl I originally spoke to about the advance was so hyped up about going to Glastonbury that weekend that she forgot to do anything about it until I rang a week later to ask where the paperwork was! Maybe she is the root of the problem!
