can i buy a new house while on maternity leave?

I dont know if anyone can help but to cut a long story short.....For lots of personal reasons I really need to move house and as soon as possible but currently on maternity leave- will I be able to get a new mortgage while on maternity leave? (I only renewed my current mortgage last year)

Generally yes, but it depends on the Lender as to any restrictions.
